As a local, getting out there and rediscovering where you live can be tough.

Life gets in the way and you forget all of the great things that made you move there in the first place.

However, locals often have the best ideas for the destination you are visiting and can offer some great insight to where the best food is and where you can find the best spot to watch the sunset.

With this blog, I try to take A Local’s Look at every destination we visit, including my own tourist town, Myrtle Beach.

From destinations within driving distance from Myrtle Beach to ones that require a little more effort, I hope to take you on a journey to see the world with a view different than a tourist. I hope to give you an inside look to each destination so you can feel at home anywhere in the world.
